Sustaining Members are the lifeblood of our organization and help fund the operations and activities of the organization.
We need at least 150 sustaining members to provide funding for our activities.
$10 month/ $120 year
Membership
Our mission is to Keep Plano one of Texas’ and America’s greatest cities to live, work, and raise a family. We do this by educating, empowering, and engaging the diverse citizens of Plano.
To keep the Keep Plano #1 organization going strong we need to:​

Inform folks what’s really going on in our fair city.
KP1 is unique – we aim for the center.
We’re non-partisan but focused on specific values. Our key goals are to inform Plano citizens and encourage them to support the BEST candidates for our city and our schools, regardless of their partisan persuasions. We share your values.

Keep Plano #1’s Facebook Group has nearly 2,000 members – nearly 20 times as many members as the paid membership of the Plano Citizens Coalition. However, we do not currently have their level of organization and funding. As a result, we have lagged in our efforts to reach the greater Plano population. With your help, that will change.
As a paid member, you will have an opportunity to join an active online Advisory Board (separate from our Facebook Group) and meet regularly to advise the Board of Directors, as well as to run for Advisory Board positions.
Paid members also assist in setting direction for the group on issues advocacy and help review and select candidates for endorsement.

Our members-only yard sign is the centerpiece of this show of support.
Designed to be “politics free” and appropriate for year-round display in any HOA (under S.B. 581 it may not be removed), it explains KP1’s mission in a few simple words.
When you Join, members get these added benefits.
We also plan to offer members-only window stickers, automobile magnets, t-shirts, hats, and more. We will have a regular newsletter and issues discussion, along with meeting summaries for City Council,Planning and Zoning (P&Z) and PISD Board of Trustees.
We’ll alert you in advance if an issue warrants you showing up or listening in to a meeting.
You will have a chance to meet with City officials, department heads and more at our regular meetings.
You’ll be able to be in the know and be a part of the discussion at every turn.​
